Expertise

Services provided by the Stamford Partnership to local neighborhood and community improvement organizations include:

• Strategic planning

• Creation of organizational structure necessary to achieve goals

• Drafting of necessary organizational by-laws

• Assisting the organization in becoming self-sustaining through staff training, leadership development, and budget and financial planning

• Assist in preparing documentation for nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax exempt status

• Acting as organization’s fiscal agent

• Grant writing

• Providing land use regulatory expertise

• Organizing of diverse interested parties into integrated, cohesive and highly functional organizations

• Imbedding Stamford Partnership Board

Members within fledging organizations’ boards of directors in order to provide
professional and corporate expertise and governance
